In 2010, flew from Mykonos, Greece to Cairo. My niece Stacey meet me for our 7 day/6 night tour of Egypt with
Egypt Land Tour. Our tour leader Fady meet us at airport
and took us to our hotel.
Our first two nights we stayed at the City View hotel. The first night we attended the Sound and Light show at the Gaza Pyramids.
Our first full day we visited Alexandria. Our second full day we
visited the Gaza Pyramids, the Step Pyramid and Memphis. We took an overnight train
to Luxor.
The first day in Luxor we visited the Temples of Luxor and the Temples of Karnak. We spent the night at the St. Joseph hotel. On our second day we visited
The Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Scribes, and the Temple of Hatshepsout. We then took an overnight train back to Cairo.
On our last full day in Cairo, we visited Coptic
Churches, a Jewish Synagogue and the Citadel of Saladin with the Mosque of Mohamed Ali . We also visited the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.
We spent one more night at the City View hotel. The next morning
Stacey flew back to the USA and I flew back to Athens, Greece.
