In the 00's, I visited Rome for several days.  Major sites I visited were Museums, the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Appian Way and the Catacombs. Also took a train to Naples and then onto Pompeii.  I also visited Vatican City while in Rome.

In February 2018, after visiting Barcelona, I flew to Venice for four days, three nights. Visited the Piazza San Marco, Saint Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, Murano (famous for their Glass), Burano (famous for brightly colored houses) and attended a concert at the Gran Teatro La Fenice. I used the Water Taxis on the Grand Canal to get from my hotel to various locations.
