In October 2012, Lima was my first leg of my Lima - Easter Island - Cuzco - Machu Picchu trip.  Spent two days in Lima and took two tours - a City tour and a tour of the Ruins of Pachacamac.  Then took a late night - early morning flight to Easter Island.  Met a new friend, Jackie, at the Lima Airport and enjoyed dinner with her each night in Easter Island. After my four days on Easter Island, flew back to Lima to meet up with my niece Stacey.  The next day we flew to Cuzco and spent the night.  The following day we travelled by train to Machu Picchu.  The first day we visited the ruins and climbed to the Sun Palace.  Spent the night and the following day climbed Huayna Picchu. Then returned to Cuzco for another night, then onto Lima to start our long trip home.
