I have visited Washington, D.C. so many times I have lost count!

As a child I visited with schoolmates on school field trips.

As an adult I have visited to attend plays, go to museums, visit the monuments, walked in the 2003 AIDS Walk, attend the Taste of DC Food Festival (which no longer exists), attend sporting events, attend parties at co-workers homes, attend company holiday parties, attend birthday dinners (celebrated my 46th birthday at B. Smith’s in Union Station - now closed) and to get the Turkey Cowboy Platter from Capital Q (now closed).

As an adult I have worked as an IT Consultant/Trainer for many different agencies/companies through various companies, especially for the VA through OASAS, the FRB through TTA from 2018 to 2020, and then as a full time contractor with at the FRB starting in 2021.

Spent Memorial Day Weekend 2009 at the Kimpton Hotel Medera.

Visited on August 25, 2016, stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Medera.  Watched the Orioles play the Nationals at Nats Standium (unfortunately the O's lost).

Visited on December 30-31, 2017. Attended The Second City's Twist Your Dickens at the Kennedy Center and The Christmas Carol at Ford's Theater.

In December 2018, visited with Dre.  We had dinner at the Skydome Restaurant at the DoubleTree in Crystal City. We attended Love Factually at the Kennedy Center.

I have stayed overight several times, expecially after I started working at the FRB. Some trips are single overnight, some are multiple nights, and some are starts of extended trips to other cities. Including in: September 2021, October 2021, April 2022, July 2022, August 2022, November 2022, May 2023, August 2023, November 2023, February 2024.
