In the 80's, during my road trip to Florida with my friend Tom in a
Baptist Church Van (it was a Driveaway Car that needed to be delivered
to Florida) we drove through Georgia. On the return trip we drove
through Georgia again.
In the 00's, I flew to Savannah to meet up with my
friend Bill who was on a road trip from Florida to Baltimore,
Maryland with his friend.
I did a walking tour of the city the day before they arrived.
Together we did a ghost walk. We ate at the "Crab Shack" that was
recommended to us by Josh. We also attended a show at
Club One
with performer Lady Chablis (one of the stars in the movie "Midnight in
the Garden of Good and Evil").
In 2013, visited for Atlanta Pride. Spent
time with my friends Bill and Keith, as well as with some of Bill's BJ
Unity group. His group marched in the Pride Parade. I also
visited the World of Coca-Cola and CNN.
In January 2021, visited Atlanta with Dre for a
Ball.
In September 2021, visited Atlanta with Dre for a
Ball.
In July 2022, visited Atlanta with Dre for a
Ball.
In January 2024, visited Atlanta with Dre and
Jonnie for a
Ball.
In May 2024, visited Atlanta. Meet up with
Renzo and D. The trip also allowed me to obtain the promotional
Southwest Companion pass.
