In the 80's, during my road trip to Florida with my friend Tom in a Baptist Church Van (it was a Driveaway Car that needed to be delivered to Florida) we drove through North Carolina. On the return trip we drove through North Carolina again.  On another occasion, Tom and me visited Kitty Hawk.

Over Labor Day Weekend 2012, visited Hendersonville with Bill, Keith and Michelle for their Apple Festival.  Had an excellent meal at Mrs G and Me! (now closed). Then it poured down raining and we got soaked!! 

Over Thanksgiving 2012, visited Hendersonville with Bill, Keith and Paul for some holiday shopping.  Had an excellent meal at Mrs G and Me! again.

On August 20, 2017, flew into Charlotte and spent the night for my visit to South Carolina the next day for the Total Eclipse of the Sun.

In May 2022, visited Ocean Isle for a weekend and stayed near the beach with Billy and Chip.  Chip's family visited during the stay.

In November 2022, visited Charlotte with Dre and Jonnie.  Attended a Ball with Dre, Jonnie, Billy and Chip.

In October 2023, visited Charlotte with Dre for Billy and Chip's wedding.  I was honored to be part of the wedding party.  Dre and I visited Richmond on our road trip back home.
