During 2005 on my road trip through the upper mid-west, I spent a night in Bismarck on my way to Wyoming.  Ate dinner at the Space Aliens Grill & Bar and the waiter recommended I stop in Medora.  In Medora I toured the town and did Horseback Riding in the Badlands.  On the long drive through the state I stopped at the largest outdoor cow statue as well as outdoor buffalo statue.

As I was crossing the border from South Dakota into North Dakota my GPS died!  This was very ominous, since my friend Bill said that North Dakota does not exist.  It was even weirder when it starting working again when I crossed into Minnesota.
