I have visited New York City so many times I have lost count!

In college during the 80's, I traveled to New York City on a college sponsored trip.  I did not know the other students well but each night at dinner I would run into classmates who would invite me to join them at their table.  I attended two plays, one alone and the other was sponsored by the college.  I also went to a very late showing of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", I was trying to win a bet with a friend of which of us would see it the most often.  Even though I love Star Trek, I thought to myself "what the hell am I doing watching this movie again".  On leaving the movie house at about 2 AM, I hailed a cab and when it pulled up someone try to take it from me to no avail.

I visited with Tom and Dominic in the 80's, to visit the sites, we walked up the Statue of Liberty and took a limo ride through the city.

During my trip to Europe with my parents, we flew through New York Kennedy Airport.

Starting in July 1995 with Love! Valour! Compassion!, I attended a play almost every month with my friend Jeff, it was my "Broadway Year".  We saw both Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.  My favorite was Sunset Boulevard with Glenn Close.

During the 90's, and 00's, I would return many times to attend plays alone and with friends. I've attended several tapings of "The Late Show with David Letterman", alone, with Jeff and with Bill.  I visited the city to celebrate my 45th birthday with Jimy & Josh and attended Wicked.  I have visited several times with Jimy, on one trip we saw the latest Star Wars movie and on another we attended a performance of Cirque de Soleil. I've visited a few times with Josh, on one trip I walked around Greenwich while he had a photo shoot.

During these trips I have visited many landmarks, the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Macy's & Gimbels and Ground Zero (the footprints of the World Trade Centers).

Other than New York City, during the 90's, I attended the Belmont Stakes with my parents. Also I have visited Buffalo several times on my way to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
