During 2005 on my road trip through the upper mid-west, I spent one night in Sioux Falls on my drive north to North Dakota.  On my drive back to Omaha, Nebraska, I spent two nights in Rapid City. 

I visited Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse Monument, Wind Cave National Park, Ellsworth Air Force Base, and a Cold War Era Minuteman underground launch control center and missile silo. 

On my drive back to Omaha, Nebraska I visited Wall Drug in Wall and the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
