In July 2006, during my trip to the Grand Canyon North Rim with Alberta and Angela, we drove through Utah on our way back to Las Vegas. 

In August/September 2008, I took the train from Denver, Colorado to Salt Lake City.  I stayed at the Anton Boxrud Bed & Breakfast Inn (which I would highly recommend - Jane & Harvey were excellent hosts).  I visited Temple Square and then rented a car to drive to the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot, Idaho.
