My maternal grandfather lived in Palmyra, my family would visit "the
country" on a regular basis throughout my childhood. I continued to
visit my aunt Thelma and cousin May as an adult.
Some of my father's family lived in Bowling Green
which we visited a few times as a child and as an adult.
In the 80's, on my way to visit Kitty Hawk, North
Carolina, my friend Tom and me stayed at my grandfather's house.
On a trip to Williamsburg, my nephews, Michael and Kenny, and me visited
my grandfather.
In the 90's, and 00's, I have visited Williamsburg
several times, alone, with my Mom and with my friends.
In the late 90's, and 00's, I worked in Springfield
and Quantico on a regular basis. I continue to travel to Virginia
for work on an occasional basis.
In the 00's, I went to Lynn's baby shower at Usha's home in Woodbridge.
They were both co-workers of mine through OASAS.
In 2006, I visited Richmond with Jimy, so he could
attend a photo shoot.
In July 2012, visited May for her 70th
birthday, then went to a Norfolk Tides game. At the game was able
to get Xavier Avery autograph. The next day stopped by Colonial
Williamsburg for lunch.
Over Labor Day Weekend 2012, drove through and
stopped at Roanoke and Radford on my road trip with Michelle to visit
Bill and Keith in South Carolina.
Over Thanksgiving 2012, drove through and stopped
at Roanoke and Radford on my road trip with Paul to visit Bill and Keith
in South Carolina. Also stopped overnight in Richmond on our
return trip to break up the drive.
In January and April 2014, worked at ABC in
Richmond, spent 3 nights is Doswell.
In May 2014, visited Williamsburg for dinner at the
King Arms Tavern on my trip to South Carolina to visit Bill and Keith.
Made an appearance on the webcam that was positioned in the King Arms
Tavern. Spent the night in Richmond.
In March-April 2015, worked at Ft. Story in
Virginia Beach.
In September-October 2015 worked at St Juliens Creek Annex
in Norfolk.
In March-May 2016, worked at Ft Belvoir and
Quantico. Stayed overnight in nearby cities.
In Novemeber 2016, spent Thanksgiving in
Williamsburg.
In July 2017, spent July 4th weekend in
Williamsburg.
In March 2018, worked in Tysons Corner and
Fredericksburg. Stayed overnight in both cities.
In June 2018, spent a night in Salem and Richmond
on my drive to/from Brimingham, Alabama.
In December 2018, visited with Dre. We had
dinner at the Skydome Restaurant at the DoubleTree in Crystal City. We
attended Love Factually at the Kennedy Center.
In April 2019, visited with Bill, Keith, Emily,
Sam, Courtney and David in Richmond.
In June, July and August, 2019, worked in Fredericksburg.
In November 2020, visited Williamsburg for the
Thanksgiving holidays.
In November 2021, visited Richmond and
Williamsburg.
In September and December 2022, visited Richmond.
In October 2023, on my trip back from Bill & Chip's
weddiing, Dre and I visited Richmond.
In January 2024, visited Portsmouth with Dre and
Jonnie for a Ball.
