During 2005 on my road trip through the upper mid-west, I drove into
Minnesota and then drove out.
In October 2014, I visisted Minneapolis and meet up
with Wally and Jake. Wally I had met on a walking tour during my
trip to Germany in 2008. We walked
across the Stone Arch Bridge
then stopped at a local pub for appentizers. We visited the location
where Mary Tyler Moore threw her hat during the
opening sequence of the
Mary Tyler Moore show.
We also went to see the inside bridge where they shown her meeting a
gentleman. We were playing the theme song when a security guard came
over and told us politely we had to stop playing the song!! We had
dinner at
The News
Room, it was a delicious meal.
The next day, I visited the Mall of America for
lunch & dinner. Even went back on my last day for lunch.
